The Dusty Pearls at Enso Bar on May 27th

The Dust Perals

“Doubtless they will be compared to The Civil Wars if their following continues to grow, but unlike other male-female duos The Dusty Pearls deserve that compliment ”
-Michael D. Smith

That gives you just a small idea of what this dynamic Americana / Country duo is bringing to the Tulsa music scene! The Dusty Pearls bring fierce harmony and songs that make you want to move. They cover all genres of music, ranging from Tom Petty and Miranda Lambert to Kings of Leon and John Mayer. They also throw in their own catchy originals, as both band members are aspiring songwriters.

Mark and Shelly began their music journey together six years ago at their church. Mark was a veteran worship leader starting a new team, and Shelly auditioned as a first time singer. Mark has an extensive musical background going back to his Holland Hall days and has been playing instruments, leading bands, and recording and producing for years. Shelly has been a walking encyclopedia of music for a long time, but it wasn’t until that fateful audition that she finally overcame her stage fright and found her own voice. As they say, the rest is history, and the two have been playing together ever since.
