The Black Keys Coming to the Tulsa BOK Center This Weekend

The Black Keys are coming to town this Saturday, and Tulsa’s own, St. Vincent, will be making a special guest performance!

The Black Keys are one of the decade’s most successful rock acts, whose edgy, high-intensity sound has crossed over to receive huge mainstream success. The duo is composed of two childhood friends, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, who started playing in their basements. When the band released its debut album, “The Big Come Up”, in 2002 with indie label, Alive, they received massive response and have been rocking around the world ever since.

The Black Keys have released a total of 8 albums to date and have won several Grammy Awards along the way: Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group for their album, “Tighten Up”; Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package for their album, “Brothers”; Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for their album, “Lonely Boy”; and Best Rock Album for their album, “El Camino”. Dan Auerbach also won Producer of the Year, Non-classical in 2013.

Doors open at 7pm for The Black Keys show at the BOK Center this Saturday, December 20. Get the party started at Enso with some pre-show drinks; then afterward, come back to keep the energy going on the dance floor, where DJ ZachFast will be spinning all night!
