Switchfoot Rocking Tulsa this Friday at the Brady Theater

If you’re ready for some rock in your life, you’re in luck. Switchfoot will be performing at the Brady Theater this Friday, March 7, for a one-night only show.

Switchfoot is a five-member alternative rock bank that originated in San Diego, California. Jon Foreman is the lead vocalist and guitarist, Chad Butler plays drums and percussion, Jerome Fontamillas plays guitar and keyboards, Time Foreman plays bass guitar, and Drew Shirley plays guitar.

The group derived their name from their mutual interest in surfing. Switchfoot refers to switching your feet and changing direction, which they interpreted as a metaphor for both life and their music. Two of their most popular hit songs are “Dare You to Move” and “Meant to Live”, which are from their major label debut, “The Beautiful Letdown.”

Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and tickets are $20 in advance and $24 on the day of the show. Kopecky Family Band, an American Indie-Rock band, will be opening and promoting their new album, “Kids Raising Kids”.
