RED Offers 10K Reasons Campaign Photo Shoot at Tulsa River Parks

After Earth Day, we all have a heightened awareness of the beauty of nature all around us. This weekend, Tulsa is mixing art with nature to highlight local talent and the beauty of our city’s parks. There’s no better way to capture nature than through photography, so the River Parks Authority is inviting everyone to come out this weekend for an open-call photo competition.

RED is the group sponsoring the event called the 10K Reasons Campaign. It will be a special fundraiser to raise funds to support local projects in the community. Using only your camera and your love for photography, participants are encouraged to capture the natural scenery and picturesque backdrops along the river and parks to illustrate what makes Tulsa’s nature areas so special.

The event is this coming Saturday, April 25, on the south side of the 41st Street Plaza at 41st & Riverside. It will be held from 3pm to 8pm, and snacks and beverages will be provided to all participants. Afterward, do a happy dance for nature at Enso, where DJ AbSrd will be spinning your favorite dance hits all night!
