Kings of Leon Rocking Tulsa on April 8th

Kings of Leon will be taking over Tulsa next Tuesday, April 8th, on their only stop in Oklahoma on their Mechanical Bull world tour. They will be performing live at the BOK Center, with special guest Local Natives.

Kings of Leon was formed in 1999, when three brothers and their cousin decided to start playing music together. Band members include Anthony Caleb Followill on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Ivan Nathan Followill in drums, percussion and backing vocals, Michael Jared Followill on bass guitar and backing vocals, and their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill on lead guitar and backing vocals.

Since the start of their music career, the band has released six albums, their most recent one being Mechanical Bull, which was released last September. Kings of Leon achieved their initial success in the UK during their early years, topping the charts and earning two BRIT Awards. They then became a huge success in the US in 2008 after the release of their fourth album, Only by the Night, which earned them their first Platinum album in the US.

Tickets are still available and doors open 6:30 p.m.
