Experiencing Hendrix Tour Coming to Tulsa on October 5

If you’re looking for a great way to end the weekend, you might want to check out the one-of-a-kind Experiencing Hendrix show that is coming to the Brady Theater this Sunday, October 5th.

Experience Hendrix, L.L.C. is a company dedicated to reliving the music and fame of one of the world’s greatest guitarists, Jimi Hendrix. Created by Hendrix’s father, James “Al” Hendrix, Experience Hendrix is a tribute concert that showcases some of today’s most talented blues and rock musicians.

The concert started out as the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Festival during the annual Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival in Seattle in 1995. But, as the years went on, the concert became more than just a single event and started happening several times a year in various locations throughout the world.

Experiencing Hendrix is now a full-fledged touring event that gives Jimi Hendrix fans a way to appreciate his music live. This year’s participating artists include Billy Cox, Buddy Guy, Zakk Wylde, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, Rich Robinson, Doyle Bramhall II, Chris Layton, Eric Gales, Mato Nanji, Henri Brown, Ana Popovic, Noah Hunt, Tony Franklin, and Tim Austin.

Doors open at 7pm, and the concert starts at 8pm.
