Blue Whale Comedy Festival in Tulsa This Weekend

It’s going to be a funny weekend in Tulsa! The Blue Whale Comedy Festival has a full lineup of comedic acts that will be performing at various venues in Tulsa this Friday through Sunday, The festival will wrap up on Sunday at Guthrie Green with a variety of performances for everyone to enjoy.

The Blue Whale Comedy Festival will be offering various comedic performances from well-known entertainers and comedians from throughout the country. There will be stand-up comedy, funny musical performances, sketches, and improv. The event is being sponsored by Guthrie Green, the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust, and the Comedy Parlor.

The event will kick-off on Friday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center with a performance of One Man Star Wars. Then, Jonathan Gabrus, Josh Fadem and Johnny Pemberton will perform their comedic act at the Comedy Parlor. On Saturday, Judah Friedlander will be performing at the Williams Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade will be performing at the Doenges Theater, along with other national and regional acts. On Sunday, there will be live performances from local and regional acts at Guthrie Green.

Some of the top comedy performers will include Betsy Sodaro, Joe Wengert, and Matt Besser. There will also be special events, such as a comedy roundtable by comedian Peter Bedgood, a late night after-party featuring Rock-A-Billy Vampire, Unknown Hinson and his band, a live taping of an improv4humans podcast by Matt Besser and members of the Upright Citizens Brigade, a “Brunch with Besser” workshop, and an “Intro to Improv” class at the Comedy Parlor.

Tickets are available for $25.
